What are Cookies?

A cookie is a small piece of data (text file) that a website – when visited by a user – asks your browser to store on your device in order to remember information about you, such as your language preference or login information. Those cookies are set by us and called first party cookies. We also use third party cookies – which are cookies from a domain different than the domain of the website you are visiting – for our advertising and marketing efforts.

More specifically, we use cookies and other tracking technologies for the following purposes:

  • Assisting you in navigation;
  • Assisting in registration to our events, and your ability to provide feedback;
  • Analyzing your use of our services or applications;
  • Assisting with our promotional and marketing efforts (including behavioral advertising).

However, without these cookies, our site is unlikely to work as you would expect. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but some parts of the site will not then work. Purpose

We use Google Analytics and it uses cookies to allow us to see generalised information on the activities of visitors to our Websites, including page views, where the users came from and time spent on each page. The information is depersonalized and is displayed in numbers, and so it cannot be tracked back to individuals. This will help to protect your privacy.
Hubspot provides us with a greater ability to provide a customised experience to you and also allows us to see which of our Websites and pages the browser associated with your personal data has visited. We use this to improve communications.

3.Functional Cookies

These cookies enable the website to provide enhanced functionality and personalisation. They may be set by us, or by third party providers whose services we have added to our pages.  If you do not allow these cookies then some or all of these services may not function properly.

These cookies do not store any personally identifiable information.

4.Targeting /Third party Cookies

If you engage with third party organisations through connections on our website, even if you are not a logged-in member of those organisations, those third parties may place cookies on your browser.  The cookies may inform the third party organisations about your visit to our site, which may be used by those organisations to deliver targeted messages and advertising to you.  In all cases, these cookies are not within our control, we are not responsible for them and we have no access to the information that they gather.  Such cookies are subject to the third party organisations' own cookie policies.

5.How to manage cookies using your browser

All recent versions of popular browsers give you a level of control over cookies. You can set your browser to accept or reject all, or certain, cookies. If you use your browser settings to block all cookies, which would include blocking our 'basic performance cookies', you may not be able to access all or parts of our site.
